WetlandsPacific wins the MISTIC Award for Environmental Technology
On November 3rd WetlandsPacific attended the fifth Mid-Island Science, Technology and Innovations Council Awards (MISTIC Awards) gala event as one of the finalists in the Environmental Technology category. We are proud to announce that we were selected as the winner from 121 nominees and 42 finalists. We also wish to contratulate Webacom on winning in the category New Media.

The British Columbia Waste & Water Association (BCWWA) Awards Committee and Board of Directors have selected WetlandsPacific as the winner of the Decentralized Wastewater Management Award for Excellence for 2010. BCWWA is an umbrella organization for water and wastewater professionals.

The award was presented at the Annual Conference & Trade Show in Whistler on Sunday May 2nd, 2010.
Regional District receives Decentralized Wastewater Management Award for Constructed Wetland:
The British Columbia Waste & Water Association (BCWWA) Awards Committee and Board of Directors have awarded the regional district of Bulkley-Nechako with a Decentralized Wastewater Management Award for Excellence for their choice of building a free water surface constructed wetland. Project won the Canadian Home Builders’ Association CARE gold award in the following categories: Best Single Family Custom Home under 3,000 sq. ft., Award for Indoor Environmental Achievement & Energy Efficiency and Award for Outdoor Environmental Achievement.
